Chamber Concerts: St. Myllin's Church, Llanfyllin, Powys

This year, the Allegri have chosen to perform the following programme:

22nd July 2012Haydn String Quartet Opus 20 No.4 in D major
Mozart String Quintet* No.3 in C major, K.515
Brahms String Quintet* No.2 in G major, Opus 111
*the guest violist performing in the quintets will be Stephanie Gonley, leader of the English Chamber Orchestra

All concerts start at 7.30 p.m. and have a short interval of approximately 20 minutes during which refreshments will be served.

Arts within the community:

1. Saturday 14th July 2012: 4.30-7.00pm, Llanfyllin Institute

This year the Festival will be hosting a pre-concert exhibition to coincide with the first of this year's Allegri concert performances in Llanfyllin. The exhibition, with stalls to showcase a wide variety of locally sourced arts and crafts, will take place in the Llanfyllin Institute, conveniently situated opposite St. Myllin's Church. Refreshments will be served here prior to the concert.

There will be toilets available as well as disabled access to both venues.

2. Allegri workshops for young musicians
